Brief History of Study Program

        The Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (PS Maksi FEB Unud) was established based on the Decree of the Establishment No. 3538/D/T/2007 dated November 5, 2007 from the Directorate General of Higher Education. The operational permit is issued by the Chancellor of Udayana University No. 2934/D/T/K-N/2010 dated July 12, 2008. The presence of PS Maksi Unud is expected to be able to answer the demands of the times for the need for experts and professionals who are applicable in research and solve managerial problems through an accounting perspective that is oriented towards increasing quality resources. .

        Since the opening of PS Maksi Unud at Udayana University until August 9, 2008, all activities of PS Maksi Unud have been coordinated by the Operations Technical Implementation Committee based on the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University No. 18/H.14.1.12/KP/02.23/2007 dated December 1, 2007, with the Coordinator Dr. I Wayan Suartana, SE., M.Sc., Ak and assisted by a Secretary Ni Luh Supadmi, SE., M.Sc., Ak. Furthermore, through the Rector's Decree No. 277/H.14/KP/2008 on August 9, 2008 the Chairperson of Dr. I Ketut Budiartha, SE., M.Sc., AK and Secretary Ni Luh Supadmi, SE., M.Sc., Ak. In the framework of the effectiveness of the tasks in the fields of Education and Administration & Finance based on the proposal of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University to the Director of PPs Unud, the Deputy Head of Education Dr. I Dewa Nyoman Badera, SE., M.Si and Deputy Head of Administration & Finance Ni Made Dwi Ratnadi, SE., M.Sc., Ak. The appointment of the Wakabid was based on the Postgraduate Director's Decree No. 770/H14.4/HK/2008 dated September 1, 2008. Furthermore, based on the Rector's Decree No. 284/UN14/KP/2012 on August 8, 2012 was appointed Dr. I Dewa Wirama as Head of Study Program and Dr. Ida Bagus Putra Astika, SE., M.Sc., Ak as Secretary of the Maksi Study Program. The next management of the Maksi Study Program is chaired by Dr. I Made Sadha Suardikha, SE., M.Sc., Ak and his Secretary Dr. Herculanus Bambang Suprasto, SE., M.Sc., Ak with the Rector's Decree No. 390/UN14/KP/2016.

        Based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Udayana University No. 592/UN14/PP.03.01/2016 dated 20 September 2016 concerning the Scope of Study Programs in Monodisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Categories for Management of Masters and Doctoral Programs, it was determined that the Master of Accounting Program is included in the Monodisciplinary category with its management carried out by the Faculty of Economics & Business, Udayana University , which was followed up with a Handover Report dated December 23, 2016, from the Director of the Postgraduate Program at Udayana University to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business, Udayana University with the knowledge of the Chancellor of Udayana University.

        Referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 30 of 2016 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of Udayana University, in article 78 it is stated that the implementation of the study program is carried out by the coordinator of the Study Program; which is confirmed in the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 34 of 2017 concerning the Statute of Udayana University, in article 35 paragraph 2 which states that the organizational structure and working procedures of Udayana University are regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 30 of 2016. Based on this, the management of the next Master of Accounting Study Program is determined by the Decree of the Chancellor of Udayana University No. 130/UN14/HK/2018 regarding the Appointment of the Coordinator of the Master of Accounting Study Program at the Faculty of Economics & Business for the period 2018 – 2022 dated January 18 2018, by appointing Dr. Drs. Herculanus Bambang Suprasto, MSi., Ak., CA. as Coordinator of the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics & Business, Udayana University. The Master of Accounting (Maksi) program has been accredited A based on BAN-PT Decree Number: 221/ SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VII/2017 dated 04 July 2017, and is valid until 04 July 2022
