BPK RI Gives Public Lecture on "Transparent and Accountable State Financial Management in PTN Environments" at Udayana University

Denpasar - Member III of BPK RI Dr. Achsanul Qosasi, CSFA gave a Public Lecture "Managing Transparent and Accountable State Finances in the PTN Environment" at Udayana University, Monday (02/02/2020). Public lecture took place in the Meeting Room, dr. A.A Made Djelantik, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana Campus, Denpasar, and was attended by the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, SPI, Chair of the Institution, Head of Bureaus, Head of Faculties and Postgraduate as well as managing finances at Udayana University. Also present at the occasion were the Head of the BPK Province of Bali and the Heads of Auditorsat III.C and III.D.

Unud Rector Prof. A. A Raka Sudewi in his speech expressed his appreciation to Member III of BPK RI who had agreed to share information with the academics of Udayana University related to the management of special state finances in Higher Education. The Chancellor who received the participants who attended could listen to the material that was presented as well as possible and get information related to state finances at PTN BLU and PTN Legal Entities.

Member III of BPK RI Dr. Achsanul Qosasi said that this came from the BLU State University, which was previously visited by the State University of BH. In his presentation Dr. Achsanul Qosasi explained several matters related to state finances, one of which was the State Budget for Higher Education. The basic finding of BPK-RI is that PTN is poorly understood. He also explained that PTN's asset management must be explained in the inventory of PTN's goods and managed by an orderly and accountable. The role of the BPK is the approval of the management and responsibility of state finances. The results of the inspection must be followed up in accordance with BPK's examination.

On this occasion, the BPK will ask PTN to immediately harmonize and save the Statute with relevant laws and regulations. As part of state finances, state universities are required to adhere to the principles of management of state finances approved in the Law on State Finance. PTN can coordinate or request the opinion of the Government such as BPKP and related Ministries in formulating policies and regulations related to PTN and must coordinate with the Directorate General of Taxation of the Ministry of Finance for the management of higher education fund taxation in accordance with requests. Member III of BPK RI hopes that PTN BLU can soon become PTN BH.
